An exciting job opportunity for a Java Software Engineer has just opened up in Portugal with a leading European Automation consultancy that has an international reach across Europe with sites in Dublin, London, Glasgow, UK and Lisbon, Portugal.

As they rapidly grow their business and client base across Europe they are looking for an ambitious Java Software Engineer to join them and help in the creation of becoming a true market leader in the BPM services market.

Contract duration: 2 months

What you will do:

• Be responsible for the software development using Java
• Work on exciting projects for the companies in Portugal and help them create their new decision manager system
• Provide technical solution and resolve any challenges or issues during implementation
• Understand requirements, rules list, and decision trees, to support rules/decisions and business insights development
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders

What you need to have:

• 3 years of experience coding with Java
• Experience with Web API integration (REST)
• At least 3 years of experience with databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
• Knowledge of Core Java, Javascript, HTML, Ajax, Rest, Linux, and Tomcat,Git,JMS
• Knowledge of XML (Including schemas), XSLT(stylesheet)
• Experience with integration of SOAP Services
