An exciting job opportunity for an IBM ODM Developer on a contract basis has just opened up in London with a leading European Automation consultancy that has an international reach across Europe with sites in Dublin, London, Glasgow and Lisbon Portugal.

As they rapidly grow their business and client base across Europe they are looking for ambitious professionals to join them and help in the creation of becoming a true market leader in the ODM services market.

What you will do:

• Be responsible for the successful delivery of ODM solutions for their current client base
• Work on exciting projects for the largest financial institution in Portugal and help them create their new decision manager system
• Provide technical solution and resolve any challenges or issues during implementation
• Understand requirements, rules list, and decision trees, to support rules/decisions and business insights development
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders

What you need to have:

• 4+ years of hands on development experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager (IBM ODM)
• Technical expertise in Design and Development of the following – Decision Table, Decision Tree, Action Rule (BRL), Technical Rule, Rule Flows, BOM and XOM, Functions, Rule Task in in ODM
• Solid knowledge in IBM ODM 8.X version, Java, databases (SQL Server)
• Experience in setting up and customizing Business Object Model (BOM) and vocabulary for rule authoring
• Hands on experience in authoring, testing, publishing and deploying business rules
• Experience in Decision Validation Services (DVS), RES console and debugging of rule projects
• Take ownership of your work and the projects you are assigned to
• A sense of humor and humbleness
