You are:

What you will do:

  • Develop, maintain & execute manual/automated tests that cover functional and non-functional (e.g. performance, load, security) requirements.
  • Work with other engineers to increase QA productivity and efficiency
  • Build and maintain test automation in line with agreed standards including associated documentation
  • Help the development team to develop software with a focus on a quality deliverable
  • Work closely with the Product manager and developers in refinement, estimation & planning

You will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA testing
  • Knowledge of QA processes and methodologies
  • Experience in programming (Java, PHP, JavaScript, Objective C preffered)
  • Web services knowledge (REST, SOAP)
  • Experience with test automation in the following settings: Web, Mobile, Web Services;
  • Experience with creating/maintaining test automation frameworks
  • Experience with test automation tools as JUnit, codeception etc.
  • Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, GoCD)
  • Knowledge/Experience in Web Security and experience of testing same
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

The role focuses on platform support, user training and on-boarding new clients, with secondary responsibilities as part of the services team to assist the Client Services Executives in various client projects and managing accounts if required.

  • Providing user support via telephone and email for our email and multi-channel platforms
  • Providing user training sessions for new clients
  • Managing the on-boarding process for new clients
  • Writing help articles and user documents
  • Testing new platform features and updates

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a software/application support role
  • Proven experience in supporting users of software platforms to a reasonable technical level
  • Delivery of user training sessions
  • relationship builder with strong customer facing skill
  • Demonstrable experience in SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Experience with HTML design tools and builders, particularly with email design

Our client, a global sustainability software and consulting company in Dresden, Germany has a new job open for a Software Engineer to join their international team! Their industry-leading software solutions, databases and consulting services help companies streamline their business, leverage innovation and increase market value.

What you are going to do:

  • As a member of the software team, you maintain and develop the software. 
  • The development of applications based on PHP and JavaScript covers your area of responsibility.
  • You are continually improving the codebase, especially in terms of the performance and reusability of the software.
  • You write source code documentation and technical documentation for new requirements.
  • You are constantly learning new technologies that you use to further develop our software.
  • You are part of a Scrum team and bring in your input for the successful further development of the software.

You have:

  • Several years of relevant software development experience.
  • Very good knowledge of JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS is an advantage.
  • You have experience with at least one frontend framework – Angular / ExtJS.
  • You have a background in PHP development.
  • You have a safe handling of MySQL databases and knowledge of SQL standards and database normalization.
