Description:

We are looking for a capable, experienced, and enthusiastic Senior IT Manager who will own and drive the IT infrastructure and all related aspects of the business. The successful candidate will be a hands-on experienced Senior IT Manager with expertise in technology implementation and a strong communicator, driving the day-to-day operations ensuring the highest standards are met.

Our client is a modern construction and manufacturing company in Dublin that uses advanced technologies in order to complete building projects 50% faster than their competition. They work with both public and private sectors across Ireland and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all IT Services, platforms, technologies, vendors and costs
• Define and execute the IT strategy for the company going forward
• Work with vendors in the technical support of IT products and services
• Analyse and improve efficiency in the technological business decisions, while identifying and eliminating their limitations and exposures
• Hands-on work in dealing with day-to day admin and support tasks at times
• Balance technological and capacity resources to company’s needs
• Develop and maintain efficient standards and procedures in place
• Research, evaluate and action existing and emerging technologies
• Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory and security standards (ISO)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology industry
• At least 3+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure and strategies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Have experience in managing IT Services across multiple locations
• Experience and knowledge of ERP systems is a must
• Experience in Microsoft tools (SharePoint, MS Office) and CDE would be ideal
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO standards
• Strong IT and analytical skills
• Prior experience in managing budgets and IT costs to ensure all targets are met is desirable
• Ideally, experience managing IT in a Manufacturing, Construction, or Engineering environment
• Be a self-motivated, proactive individual with a passion for a quick problem resolution
• Strong and excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
