They support their clients at all project management stages from the development of strategies and operational frameworks to the technical implementation and handover.

 

In this role as a Managing Director/Associate Partner you will have the unique opportunity to build your own consulting business. In this role, you’ll be part of the executive team and perform at the intersection of traditional management consulting and Insurance/reinsurance. You will play the key role in the Insurance team and define the define strategy which should enable a strong growth for the client

Responsibilities:

  • As a Managing Director/Associate Partner in Insurance / Reinsurance, you will advise (re)insurance companies in complex projects on the topics of Target Operating Model, Digitization, Increasing Efficiency, System Implementation and Selection, etc.
  • Development of technical concepts and implementation planning at the interface of business and IT
  • Management of projects or subprojects with a focus on business analysis, quality assurance and software evaluation delivery
  • Define the Insurance/Reinsurance go to market strategy
  • Hire your team to deliver the project to the UK market clients
  • Mentor and coach consultants increasing their knowledge and practical experience of insurance transformation
  • Member of the Exec team and hence impact the company hiring and marketing strategy
  • Define the insurance service offerings and deliver it to the client
  • Act as a subject expert on allocated topics in eventual support of other delivery teams

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6-10 years’ experience in a UK consulting practice with focus on the (re-) insurance market
  • Ideally, worked for a local (re-insurance) company during a couple of year
  • You have a combined business and IT understanding and good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to quickly understand complex problems
  • In-depth experience in underwriting, risk management, technical accounting or claims management
  • You have strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly at various levels throughout a client organization

Required Educational Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education in a relevant business or technology discipline; ideally a Bachelor’s Degree in combination with an MBA degree
