Mitel Field Maintenance Engineer

Job Title – Field Maintenance Engineer (Mitel ICP 3300)

Reporting to – Head of Field Engineering

Department – Engineering

Location – Field based. – Scotland or Yorkshire

Salary – £28K – £45K dependent on experience (TBC)

Hours – 09.00 to 18.00 with 1 hour for lunch

 

Candidate with experience around the installation, support and maintenance of Mitel 3300 solutions and associated applications including Nupoint, Mitel Border Gateway (MBG), Mitel Application Suite (MAS), Contact Centre, IVR, Unified Communicator Advanced (UCA) Enterprise and Ops Manager.

Experience around Mitel SX2000 and other PBX’s are considered advantageous, however, not essential for the role.

The ideal candidate would already be working towards MEAS accreditation.

The successful candidate must be experienced in maintaining the Mitel 3300 and associated applications.

The ability to assist with planning and installing multi-site Mitel 3300 solutions using ISS and into virtualised environments will be an advantage.

Strong communication skills, professional, flexible positive attitude and good proactive problem solving skills are essential.

The role will require some out of hours and weekend working.

Experience Minimum of 5 years installation and maintenance experience on Mitel ICP3300 and associated products.

(Experience on SX2000 is an advantage but not a requirement).

Job Title: IT Trainer & Support Assistant

Location: City of London

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

Our client is currently working with us to recruit someone who is responsible for providing the London office with 1st/2nd line Helpdesk support and IT training as required. The primary responsibility is to support and enable the attorney’s workflow at the desktop, smart phone and remote access level.  In addition, following up on calls escalated from the Helpdesk and systemic issues.

Duties in the role will be:

  • To ensure that lawyers and staff in the London office consistently receive high quality technical support services
  • Walk floors and follow up on calls escalated from the Helpdesk and outstanding and/or systemic issues
  • Arrange the order and distribution of media supplies for example laptops, mobile devices and accessories. Set up technology in conference rooms for meetings as and when needed
  • Ensure all is set up for the arrival of new starters to my client’s business. Including log ins, printer access, telephones (land line and mobile)
  • Provide one to one training and always provide on boarding and constant proactive training to ensure a great IT Skill level within the business
  • Troubleshoots, resolves or escalates to the next level of support which may require speaking to a third part tech team. Log work on the Helpdesk ticketing platform and sure tickets are followed up and closed once resolved.
  • Support the IT Manager during all phases of diagnosis and special projects

Required Experience:

  • Experience using: document management system (ideally NetDocuments);
  • Expert using Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 operating system.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Acrobat, document comparison (Litera Change Pro) or similar, financial applications such as DTE and Elite
  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience required within an IT Service Desk in a law firm.

Job Purpose:

To log, manage and close tickets in our client’s CRM system and provide frontline support to customers and end users. To assign tickets to appropriate resource and escalate when required. To communicate effectively both internally and externally, providing updates to customers, engineers and third parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Answering calls from the Siptel Support number, taking down fault specific details and logging these as a ticket into the helpdesk CRM Application.
  2. Logging support tickets that come in via emails.
  3. Performing initial 1st & 2nd line support to the end user and trying to resolve the fault, when possible, at first point of contact.
  4. Assigning and escalating tickets on to engineers and 3rd line support when required.
  5. Tracking all emails relevant to support tickets into CRM.
  6. Add updates to the tickets including tasks for site visits and phone calls.
  7. Log faults with 3rd parties and follow up any outstanding tickets with them.
  8. Monitor automated alerts, logging and investigating if needed.
  9. Complete daily tasks such as system checks on specific customer equipment.
  10. Assist with any internal IT issues, logging and escalating if needed.
  11. Involvement in the handover of projects from installation to support teams.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Attend product specific training and work to towards specific product certification.
  2. If required assist with project or maintenance, on-site work.
  3. Providing out of hours on call support to customers.

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience with Helpdesk or Customer Service
  2. Must be computer literate (Software/Hardware)
  3. Interested in Technology/Telephony/Networking/VoIP
  4. Use of Microsoft Office Applications
