Due to continued growth they are looking for a Data Analyst to join their Munich team for an immediate start.

You would be responsible for analytics which is the backbone of the company – from in-game behaviors to KPI driven marketing, analytics provides the background for other departments, our operations and decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, enhance and control their analytics system
  • Handle tracking solutions and various data sources; merge, sort and interpret data, make data readable and usable
  • Developing dashboards, models and forecasts, standard and ad-hoc reports
  • Work with the product team on game and user analysis
  • Provide decisive metrics to the marketing team

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as Data Analyst, ideally 2 years
  • Analytical, number-driven mindset
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and accurate work style
  • Experience in scripting language (preferred Python)
  • Experience in working with Databases/RDMS (preferred MySQL)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Good communication skills, confidence in presenting numbers and evaluations to the team and to developers
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • No German necessary

Package on Offer:

You would have responsibility for the games, relationships with the developers and finding new games. You would assist the developers in polishing their games to ensure they are market ready. You will also be a strategic driver beyond product – reporting directly to the CEO and Founder.
Responsibilities:

• You will be the interface and point of contact for their external game studios
• Provide data driven and actionable feedback to the developers about their design, monetization, features and mechanics.
• Provide consulting internally and externally
• Analysis of competition and market trends
• Responsible for internal communication to the marketing team, controlling and management updating them on game development, roadmaps
• Assist the acquisition team to evaluate potential games and provide in-depth feedback on all aspects of a new title
• Represent the company at trade fairs and pitch to developers
• Define, propose and implement product strategies and processes

What you need:

• Experience in games and product/project management/producer
• Passion for games in general and be success driven
• Knowledge of the mobile / browser Free2Play market and its trends as well as the general game market
• Experience in enhancing product features after release through data driven iteration
• Knowledge of game design is a strong plus as well as fundamental expertise in UX/interface design and visual artistic comprehension is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both oral and in written, fluent in English
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a self-driven mind set whilst being a considerate team player

You will contribute towards the overall strategic and technical ownership of Linux, physical and virtual estate, (around 400 servers) – this includes systems supporting International business, Telecommunications and public ISP services based in the Channel Islands.

Essential Experience & Skills:
• Extensive experience administering IT systems with a proficient and in-depth understanding of Linux operating systems and a good understanding of Windows operating systems and associated open source monitoring, management, deployment and reporting tools.
• Proficient understanding of ISP services / protocols /network concepts (including IP, TCP, DNS, Mail, HTTP(s), routing, switching concepts, load balancers, layer 7 firewalls etc.)
• Previous extensive experience working to and contributing to company security policy compliance as well as industry standard certification like ISO 27001.
• Certified RED Hat Administrator, LPIC III, Cisco CCNA
• Expert knowledge and experience with design of virtualisation and public/private cloud technologies including Openstack, KVM, VMware as well as Hyper-V, Amazon AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean, etc.
• Must establish and maintain an in-depth knowledge of current and future technologies in order to contribute to the identification of advances and improvements in ICT
• Experience of delivering IT network infrastructure projects and assessing solution performance and recommending Service Improvement Initiatives within large enterprise communication solutions.
• Experience constructing comprehensive quotes and/or proposals and the relevant numerical skills in order to technically size network load capacity requirements.
• Create and modify operational and technical procedures and/or best practice documents.
• Awareness of the telco and financial businesses regulations.
• Comfortable with scripting (bash/PHP/python etc.), proven track record in DevOps activities. A broad knowledge of unix-type services (mail/dns/loadbalancing/common httpds, etc.) and opensource technologies is key.
• Have a can-do attitude and be very comfortable with various virtualisation technologies as well as storage and network configuration. Experienced in technical project delivery and are on the cutting edge of opensource developments but also able to balance this with operational/business needs and risk appetite – as well as open to communication on the right way to approach a solution within the team.
• You will be a Technical Expert with a keen motivation to support and guide other team members, business units and vendors.

Desired Experience & Skills:
• RHCE/CCNA or equivalent experience
• Automation capability (ansible/puppet/chef)
• Proficient understanding of web technologies e.g. Apache/Nginx/HTTP
