As a Junior Account Manager you will be required to have at least 6 months experience within any sales environment and be looking to expand your sales career.
In your role you will be expected to manage existing accounts but there will also be an aspect of New Business Sales. In the beginning this will be more of an internal sales role managing all of the clients that the company has not got an account manager assigned to.
You will be managing and upselling into these accounts to be able to reach your on target earnings for the year and in turn you will be promoted to a senior fully client facing role.

Title – New Business Sales Specialist

Location – East Kilbride, Glasgow

Salary – £30,000 OTE

The Role – The New Business Sales Specialist will support our client’s Small Business operational objectives via the achievement of new business mobile connections volume and margin targets using supplied sales prospect data. Sales targets will be achieved through high levels of productivity and quality customer contacts. The post-holder will deliver an outstanding customer experience with every interaction. Own the on-boarding and sales process for the customer and establish self as the customer’s dedicated sales support contact with the objective of re-signing them at contract-end date.

Responsible for delivery of sales volume and gross margin targets through the achievement of fully defined productivity indicators including customer contact volumes and talk time in a fully compliant environment.

Skills and Aptitude

  • Must have a good level of computer literacy with competence in Outlook, Excel and CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication skills underpinned by a strong understanding of sales processes
  • Proactive and confident in approach to customer relationships
  • Ability to maintain a high level of self motivation and organisation and to work with minimum supervision

Experience

Previous Telco experience including understanding of Business Mobile solutions preferred but not essential. Familiar with dialler technology and a high volume sales contact centre environment

Client – Our client is a large mid-size Systems Integrator with offices across the UK.

Role – The Business Development Director is a member of the Sales team working under the direction of the Head of Healthcare to ensure outstanding sales to prospective UK Public Sector NHS accounts (Predominately NHS Foundation Trusts, Mental Health Trusts, Community Health Trusts and Ambulance Trusts).

The purpose of this role is to achieve target by creating / closing new business opportunities into the UK NHS Market place and to consistently exceed target month on month.

Responsibilities:

  • Annual Year 1 Gross Profit Target (£725,000)
  • Primary focus will be selling a mix of the following Cloud based and on-premise Managed Service offerings: Unified Communications and IP Telephony, Enterprise Mobility, Contact Centre Management Outsourcing, Video Conferencing and Patient Entertainment Systems.

Key  Accountabilities:

  • Generate sufficient new business to ensure sales targets are met as a minimum
  • Hit first year Gross Profit target
  • Attend customer meetings
  • Grow a sustainable pipeline equating to 3 x annual target
  • Develop a clear understanding of the client’s range of services, in-line with overall business objectives
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the type of business relationships our client wants to establish
  • Assess and research the suitability of potential leads allocated from any source in consultation with the Head of Healthcare prior to pursuing
  • Investigate nature of business of potential customers
  • Establish relationships with suppliers to facilitate the overall provision of services to customers
  • Maintain accurate records, using CRM, for forecasting purposes to facilitate on-target revenue generation

Role Outline – Following a record business performance in financial year 14/15, our client is investing in all areas of the business to support continued growth. In order to create further demand and support the customer acquisition effort, our client wishes to hire an experienced Telemarketing Manager to provide leadership and management to an existing team of three demand creation specialists.

The purpose of the telemarketing practice is to produce qualified opportunities for the new business team, and also to act as a breeding ground for new sales talent to join either the enterprise or mid-market sales teams.

The requirement is to appoint a proven leader to take on ownership of the team in order to drive performance and develop people from within.

Deliverables and Output:

The below list is not exhaustive and may be amended during the role scoping and interview process:

  • Take ultimate responsibility for team performance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Be accountable for pre-agreed activity and financial targets
  • Work with our client’s marketing department to devise targeted campaigns

  • Experience in using CRM systems to manage customer data, generate reports and monitor individual and team performance
  • Experience in working to typical telesales key performance indicators such as measured call volumes, booked meetings and contracted business
