SD-WAN Project Manager – Leeds, UK

Our client is a very exciting global systems integrator who are focused on helping clients deliver SD-WAN technology.

They are looking immediately for a Project Manager who will work with their clients to deliver SD-WAN technologies in a global capacity, and have an immediate large scale project ready to be delivered.

You have to have at least three years’ experience of delivering Global WAN projects, and obviously experiences with SD-WAN technology is a massive benefit. Experiences with Riverbed, Silver Peak or Aryaka would be looked on very favourably. If you need to Google search or ask what SD-WAN is, this isn’t a job for you!

Our client is based in Leeds, so ideally you will be based in the North East. They will consider applications from folks in the North West also, but you will need to be in the office probably for 2/3 days a week so travel has to be a consideration.

You’ll play a crucial & leading role in being their FIRST, YES FIRST, Support Engineer in Europe. Dont worry, you’ll have a large team in the US to back you up.

You should have at least 5 years of Telephony, Contact Centre or Voice experience working with some of the traditional vendors in this space (Avaya, Cisco, Genesys etc)

As part of this role you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a new digital platform which will be used to differentiate our clients value proposition versus the competition on three levels:

Duties

  • There will be a 2 week discovery session with all stakeholders of the business, where you will be responsible for helping them understand the process and the steps which will be made to implement this new programme
  • You will lead the engagement with business users to define business process requirements
  • End to end process mapping and creation of authorisation and escalation points
  • Lead the delivery and execution of process and procedural change initiatives
  • Document issues raised & prepare solutions

    Process/Programme Manager will have experience in:
  • It is essential you know the Agile methodology from building out a BRD’s and taking the ethics of the user stories and using these from a process build perspective
  • Process design methodology
  • Experience in Process Transformation Programmes
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels to analyse trends and issues, translating these into requirements
  • Strong knowledge of reporting tools
  • Proficient in Visio-essential
  • Strong communication skills

A position exists for an experienced Linux / Support Engineer for our client, a Cyber Security Vendor based in Dublin.

Support Requirements:

It is expected that this Linux Support Engineer would provide support to managed ICT environments as part of the Secure Managed Services team. Troubleshooting skills are essential. It will also involve working directly with clients as required.

  • The Linux Support Engineer selected must be willing to broaden their skillsets through training both formal and self-driven as required.
  • The individual must display good interpersonal skills, this position will involve working as part of a service delivery team and project team as required.
  • This Linux Engineering position will involve both project (new builds) and also support of existing client builds.
  • Any additional knowledge / expertise in networking (firewalls, switches routers etc.) and Windows environments including Server and storage support is also welcomed and should be highlighted.

  • Install and configure linux (Debian and/or RedHat preferred)
